WOW!!

This blush is absolutely incredible!! I love, love, love it! I ordered it from Ulta.com and at first the color was extremely intimidating because of how bright of a pink it was and my first experience with this Smashbox blush was absolutely phenomenal.

I have a medium/tan skin tone so I found myself brush and blending it more then I would for my light/fair skin tone gals, but to be honest I found this blush to be very universal for any skin tone it seemed to me it compliments the face perfectly! NOW, if you use too much then you can come off looking ehh... not very pretty! So, make sure you blend it out very well with a kabuki brush to blend out the color or any harsh lines!

I am for sure going to be purchasing more blushes from Smashbox in different shades and to sum this all up I give this a "thumbs up" and for sure recommend it to anyone who is bold enough to play around with a color like this, ha ha!

Hi my beauties!

I thought I might as well start a blog so all of you can look at it and follow up on new trends and what I have been doing for my lovely clients! I am not very familiar with blogging but, I thought I might as well give it a try and learn on the way!


I thought it would be proper to give you all a view on how I got started on my makeup career as well as a few things about myself! So, with that being said..

I am Monica a professional freelance makeup artist located in the state of Utah. I always had a passion for art and makeup so, I thought I would combine them both and start as a makeup artist.

A great friend of mine called me on her wedding day in panic because the person who was going to do hair and makeup did not show up! Needless to say I went over there and I glammed her up and she looked absolutely gorgeous! I wish I had taken pictures or had copies of  pictures of what I did. I do have a picture but it was taken with a cell phone so its a low quality photo.. I wil just post it just so you guys can see it, but once I did her hair and makeup thats when I fell in love with the idea of being a makeup artist so with a little bit of research, homework, and LOTS of practice....thats how I started with my small business MAKEUPBYMB!

I love being able to help women of all ages and just make them feel their best and have the truly discover how beautiful they are inside and out. It is a phenomenal career and I absolutely love it!
